“Brides get to post projects of what they want and local wedding vendors get a chance to review and bid on them.”
WeddingReach was born from the frustrating task of searching and contacting wedding vendors. We all go through the same routine: endless games of phone tag, email threads that span across months, and enormous stress leading up to the big day.
Planning a wedding shouldn't be this difficult right? We don't think so either and decided to do something about it.
Kathy and I (Allison) met in college have been inseparable BFFs since then. Just last year, I was the MOH (Maid of Honor) for Kathy's beautiful and lovely wedding. For all the preparation it took to make her day memorable, we just couldn't believe the amount of time and hair-pulling effort it took.
As we started to prepare for my wedding with Kathy being the MOH, we just thought, "wouldn't it be great if vendors could come to us?" It was such a simple idea that materialized when we realized how beneficial it would be, not only for brides, but also for the wedding vendors.
From that point on, we knew we had to immediately find a way to share it for other fellow brides and connect them to perspective vendors. Luckily for us, Kathy knew the guys working for WeddingCakeCreations and a partnership was formed.
Brides get to post projects of what they want and local wedding vendors get a chance to review and bid on them. It's just that simple!
We are working hard to add more functionality to our site and would love to hear your comments and suggestions on how to improve it going forward.
Thank you!
Allison and Kathy
